How To Prepare Your Mix For Mastering

• Remove all plugins from your master bus.
• Make sure that the master bus is not clipping.
• Check for clicks, pops, vocal sibilance and too loud or too quiet instruments.
• Leave a few seconds of silence at the beginning and the end of your track.
• Export a high-quality WAV or AIFF file of your mix set to your project sample rate (probably 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz) and a bit depth of 24 bit.
